We are sorry for your loss. I have various recollections. His humanity with all was heart warming! His ability to get things done. I say it ain't about the thinking, it is about the doing and Jim was all of that and more. Sometimes he used big words and lost me and sometimes he could get right down to it and we would laugh and laugh!! Jim embraced life and lived life!
He loved his kids, Jake and Chloe! We discussed them many times and shared stories of kids and grand kids. There was a special place in his heart and may i say my heart for kids and all kids deserving an opportunity to succeed. I was honored when Shoshana and he asked me to write a letter of recommendation for Jake. Then Shoshana and Jim had me to breakfast to thank me. A good word for Shoshana and Jim is gracious. They were a beautiful and loving couple.
I will miss our breakfasts at the Kendall with Vimala and Jim. I always came away amazed at what the two of them had accomplished in helping others
It seems the human condition to write nice things about people when they pass. For Jim that is not the case, he richly deserves any and all kind words. I personally will miss his larger than life presence, his true caring for others, and his abundant love.
All the above said it is a very sad time. May his family and those dear to him feel his love for them and may that love give them peace
Go well Jim
