I was saddened to hear of Jim’s death.
I knew the Maxmin/Zuboff family for a short time, coaching a couple of sports teams that involved one of their kids. When I first met Shoshana and Jim, I had no idea they were heavyweights in the worlds of academia and business. I knew them only as supportive and dedicated parents.
My memory of Jim is simple. I remember him leaning on a ball field fence, watching a game, and talking and joking with the other parents, and reveling in the simple joy of being a Dad.
Condolences to your family.
